We built a Chrome-based chatbot extension that plugs right into their EMR system, powered by advanced GPT models and sophisticated prompt engineering. It automates tasks like patient summaries, referrals, and lab orders while predicting SOAP notes with impressive accuracy.

Complex Query Handling Medical terms are not always simple. The system needed to process drug names, lab tests, and clinical notes without errors. Accuracy mattered as mistakes could affect care. The challenge was ensuring the chatbot could deliver precise answers instantly while managing the complexity of EMR workflows without slowing doctors down.

It needed to know when to activate (only appearing when the EMR was in use). Our Solution
Intelligent GPT Backbone
We built the system on multiple GPT models, including GPT-4o, to strike the perfect balance between performance and cost. This backbone ensured accuracy for complex medical queries while staying efficient. The chatbot could understand intent, generate precise responses, and deliver them instantly, making EMR interactions smarter and less time-consuming.
Automation That Works
We automated the heavy lifting. This means that all the prescriptions, referrals, summaries, and SOAP notes could be generated automatically based on chatbot replies. This drastically reduced manual data entry. Doctors no longer had to click endlessly or retype the same details. With automated flows, the system turned repetitive EMR tasks into one-click actions.
Effortless Chrome Extension
We designed the chatbot as a Chrome extension built with JavaScript Web APIs. It activates only when the EMR is open, meaning no setup, no extra logins, no friction. By embedding it directly into workflows, we gave providers a ready-to-use tool that feels natural and always available.

In healthcare, trust and privacy are non-negotiable. That is why we implemented robust authentication to safeguard OpenAI keys and ensure secure usage.
